Sorry Lazlo, I almost took a pic of the clay coat but I was taking less pics of this one as I worked on it. Just kind of got tunnel vision and got it done.
Basically, the clay was on real thin (1/16" over the back of the blade, super thin over the edge area, which was just brushed with a clay wash. The line was straight, about 1/3 of the way of from the edge, and ashi of alternating short and long length depended from it. About eight total, with the long ones ending about 1/2" up from the edge.
That's all I got.
