The City Stock!!!

If you judge by this Zuni necklace, pictured, other Tribes hold the same beliefs!!! Our planet needs all the blessings it can get!!

I have stated this before and will repeat it again. One of GEC's best. Just went back over this thread looking at all the pics, just outstanding. A quintessential pocket knife.
I somehow missed this comment - Thanks, Leon!!!

Love that white bone city stock!! Great patina on your EDC city stock!

A beauty! And we could all use some more hope and good times I am sure, here's hoping it rings true.

The City Stock…. It’s a knife that makes you question why you have all the other knives.

Because of this I’ve been holding out carrying it, telling myself “that’s Autumn’s knife Thomas, you save it, you’ll be happy you did”.

Well last night I crumbled, I’ll just have 24 hours with him ok, 🙄

The white buffalo is a beauty charlie, there is nothing like seeing a small heard put the calfs in the middle and dare the wolves to come get them, they released a heard of 19 in chitek lake manitoba on skonan first nation land and it has grown to well over 250,so the wolves are not winning out, mind you the skoman band keeps the wolves down, chitek lake is the only place in north America to have buffalo, Elk,deer and woodland caribou, the skownan first nation keep 🙏 for a white buffalo.

My preference is single-spring blade each end knives, been enjoying and using a Red Micarta 81 which I was very lucky to win in a GAW.

However, because of its existence and your pictures...I yearn for a City Stock and hope someday to secure one, patience is always a virtue with knife-lust ;) Mind you I'm also reminded of Henry Hill in 'Goodfellas' "I like going this way. It's better than waiting in line " :D

It will certainly join the user ranks though, no cosseted life but City streets

Will Power, are you yearning for a genuine City Stock, or would you be happy with other GEC 811224 models, like the Boss Bull Keeper or Coon Skinner? I've seen one of the former for a very high price, and 4 of the latter for about half the price on AAPK (All About Pocket Knives). They have different shields. But careful, there's also a 811222 Coon Skinner model which is a Muskrat, with the skinnier California/Turkish clip blades. I might be a terrible member of Knife Buyers Anonymous, since I'll probably tell you to buy one of each.

M marantz I need no encouragement ;):D

Have the Boss Bull Keeper in Red Micarta as it's the knife I recently won in a GAW 😍 It has fired my interest as I use it constantly but the pix of the CS I see here have completely turned my head, that bone :) But if I get one it's going to have a working knife no slumbering in a knife roll for future generations pleasure (if there are any....)

Thanks, Will
