The classics

The Kershaw Leek should probably go on your list as well as some flavor of SAK. For the traditional, I’d say a good example of the sodbuster pattern would be a nice addition. Most of the fixed blades that come to mind have already been mentioned.

I don’t know wanna derail the thread but if you ever wanna talk Les, I’m here for ya.

Simply put the most underrated maker of all.
Be careful Mitch will get you be hooked on those George's. I went from none a few months ago to seven of them now 😂. Proceed with caution as they're addicting! Mitch showed me the way !

I am a giant. I have huge hands. My list would be totally out-to-lunch compared to a lot of guys here.

That said, everyone should have a Spartan Harsey Folder. Full sized version. I love that knife.
Love your philosophy, and the SHF! That said, Mitch is not leading you astray in suggesting that you examine Les George's offerings. Les has a level of fit and finish that is beyond most midtech knives. SHF is my favorite due to handle design and overall curb appeal, but I realize that isn't everyone's bag of tea.

You should also add a fixed blade from Ethan Becker/kabar/camillus collab to your collection. I recommend the BK2 or BK62. My personal favorite from Uncle Ethan, is a collab with Esee, the BK14.

Definitely interested! Seems his stuff is impossible to find though..
Not too hard to find, last week they were popping up like I’ve never seen. If ya keep your eye on the exchange they pop up a few times a month but they go fast.

He’s also been doing quite a few drops. You have to follow him on one of the platforms or get alerts from the dealers. But they also go fast.

If ya go back a few days on the exchange there was a vecp with a tan coated blade that I don’t think sold and there’s also a Talos last I checked that hadn’t sold.

The ZT 0562 is a “classic”, perhaps even what pushed Rick to upgrade his knives with the Tri-Way system, because when it came out it had noticeably better action than a real Hinderer… same with the 0392
So you could say it (ZT and the 0562/0392s specifically) pushed the innovation of a lot of knives too… just all my opinion of course

I like ZTs iterations of others designs
I have Hinderer, Emerson, Rexford, and others, but they are all ZT 😁 I'm looking for a Les George 0920, especially since I have one of his in hand, I'm curious to compare the two

Traditional classic;

Marbles Ideal hunting knife. Gladstone MI, early vintage.
Or other variants ie, Woodcraft or Canoe.

It's hard to find a nice vintage one in good shape, but being one of the first production hunting knives made,
I believe it solidly fits into that category.
