Nice job! The ten finalists have been chosen and the winner will be announced sometime next week. I would love to say that you are all winners in your own right but that might diminish those who take great pride in being so deeply disturbed (including some of our finalists).

Great job guys! If we gave out prizes for the names that made us laugh, and were ultimately posted on the bulletin board in our shop, we would be awarding hundreds of prizes. Unfortunately, there will only be one winner and no consolation prizes. Thanks for all of your efforts and we look forward to your continued participation on our forum and the many new contests we will be announcing in the future.

). Remember, no matter who wins, the other nine contestants have to act happy for them (if you need training in this, just watch the runners up in any beauty pageant).

Go ahead and practice this line over the weekend:

"We (the other contestants) are so happy that YOU won the Busse Name that Knife contest. YOU really deserve it more than we do. We hope you cut the crap out of your hand.........(sorry) We hope you are able to use it, love it, and care for it as much as we would. We all have our own two word phrases that we would like to share with you, (insert your own two word phrase here)."

I have tried it and I feel better already.

Thanks again to the Busse Knife folks for sleepless nights, lost time, and being reduced to thinking in two-word phrases.

In all seriousness though, I think it is a great comment on your company that you are involved with and accept input from your customers. I think you will gain a loyal following by letting us regular Joes be a part of the process. Thanks Guys

First of all, I would like to thank all the little people I had to step on to get here. Second, I will need to start practicing my kool-aid grin, bueaty queen wave, and runway walk just in case I win. And remember, if the winner can not fulfill his duties as a new Busse owner, Jerry reserves the right to kick him in the nads.

Seriously though, Thanks for the contest and I am very please to be in the top 10. Is there any way you can list the knife names we chose as well as the contestant names. I listed so many names, there's no way I could tell which one of mine was chose. I'm pulling for Monica's Cigar, but Clinton's Intern could be a real sleeper. Now I'll have to spend another restless week wondering if I will win. You guys are really trying to send me to the mental institution. Speaking of that, will the Basic 5 cut through straight jackets? Maybe I'll find out
