Wow, that turned out nice:thumbup: I would love to work with natural materials at some point, but for now it's a whole lot easier to swallow if I screw up a piece of micarta:D Beautiful scales!
 
Thanks for comments!! It can be intimidating using exotic materials, but when I can get them to turn out like this, I am thankful for a mentor (Wayne Jarrett) that pushes me to explore.

Bad Boy, this Damascus is no longer being produced by Devon Thomas. I was able to acquire some of the last pieces! I guess that makes this one extra special!! And RickyV, Wayne is absolutely correct, the material is totally legal. FYI - I have an awesome teacher!
