Howdy folks, here is a snap of my latest build - can only hope it appeals to the viewing masses :)

Thank you for your interest!

A very different look from you. I like it very much, blade shape handle and bolster all work together.

Very nice, I believe my favorite of yours.
A little more conventional than most of your pieces.

this is gorgeous work. high craftsmanship. I will never look at silver the same.. and will now consider it a potential material for my work. very cool. interesting hamon too.. sort of a double line on the outer edge...

Hi Anders,

That's a very crisp and fierce looking knife. If you don't mind my asking, did you use the lost wax casting technique to construct your hardware? If so, how do you adjust for the shrinkage?

All the best, Phil

very sweet looking knife! Always get excited when you post up stuff Anders, knowing that my eyes are in for a treat. And never disappointed!

As usual Anders.... a stunning beauty! You are one heck of a brilliant artist... IMHO!

Great one, Anders! Super lines, love the unique blade shape. You always surprise.

That's beautiful! I love the shape of that blade, I don't know if I've seen anything quite like it. The shape and handle together make it look fast, like it's moving even when it is sitting still.

Thank you sirs! Seems like I finally made something that DOES appeal to the masses....hm, where is STeven? ;)

Well, reg. the blade shape. I have made something somewhat similar before, in the same general direction that is. Some may remember this one for ex:

http://www.andershogstrom.com/knife_gallery.php?gallery=fighters&number=3

It IS fast, hefty and the handle fills the hand nicely....note the finger choil being designed for an index and middle finger grip...fencing style of course. I always use the lost wax casting method....no more shrinkage than it ( the guard) can be filed to fit rather easily after casting

I'm curious to know what exactly people find weird, odd or out of wack with some of my designs - anybody willing to enlighten me? :)
