Handstitching wakes up muscles in your fingers and forearms that you didn't know you had that's for sure. I'll admit I glanced at my sewing machine quite a few times thinking..."what the hell am I doing!!!!"

Don't use leather stitching thread as dental floss. It's hard on the gums.

Up at the crack of somebody's dawn, gettin these edges cleaned up and ready to burnish. These are fresh off the grinder and will be handsanded next.
