The Cowbell Build Thread

I like that Bone Linen with that Zulu too!
Right? That bone linen is almost translucent and goes so well with that blade for some reason.

Red Linen, Copper and a black clip ain't too shabby either!

This is a first, I can upload photos but it's not letting me insert them in here. I've got a few pics to sprankle around in here, I'll check back later and see if it let's me.

Just found this subforum, I regret that it's taken me so long. Ya'll know how to have fun! Message sent on IG w/ email address so you can start taking my money. I'll be around, and will start thinking of some awful bell-related puns or something else to contribute. 🤔. This must be the best corner of BF...

Mine arrived on Thursday. I got home for fifteen minutes Friday night, picked up SWMBO and drove to Tucson for the gem shows. Drove home Sunday, dropped SWMBO off and eent back to work. Forgetting to pick up my package both times.
Life is rough when you're an idiot.
We did get some spectacular pieces at the gem shows though.

This used to be a dry erase board but quickly got to the point where you couldn't wipe the dry erase marker off, the board dried out or something. Hit it with some blackboard spray paint (awesome stuff) and it works great with chalk.

Anyways this is how I'm keeping track of the 21 in process. It's nice to have the visual on the wall.

Boring knifemaking tip #8,376
Knocking off the sharp edge of the blade with an old belt before grinding the bevels with a good belt. Since blades get ground edge up if you don't knock that profiled edge down you shear off al lot of abrasive the moment you contact the belt. A swipe with the edge down with an old belt bevels that corner off.
