UPS brought to me a lovely pair of Shivs today. I hugged the driver after he handed the box over. He looked confused and discomfitted.

It has been a minute since I've owned one, and now I know why I missed this model so much. It is sharpened poetry in the hand. It just flows.

This pair are near twins. Both deep butterscotch, both top sharpened, both 3V, both dead mint. Keeping one forever and ever. And ever. That's a promise, because the therapy I needed while without cost me a fortune. I will never be without a Shiv again, yea verily.

As for the spare, I would consider trading it. (It is NFS outright, now or later, thank you. If I get a trade done, hooray !, and if not... well, hooray !)

Fair warning, trading for one of these Shivs will be costly, and will not be to your advantage. Your wife will hit you with a stick if she finds out. Your drinkin' buddies will give you the business. For years, mebbe. Small dogs, previously friendly, will sense your lapse in self discipline and feint at your ankles.

The last Shiv that got purchased out of an WTB/ISO ad from this forum changed homes at $2500. That's (USD), not (CAN) or (AUS). (See attachment.)

Jeer if you must, cast stones if you've never tried to maximize a single past opportunity. But that's where my sights are set. I regret nothing ! (Other than bungling my K20 pre-order.)

I like all choppers, so long as they are minty and have their pants. Extra points for penetrator tips done at The Shop, and extra points for extra scales especially if one set happens to be TeroTuf. Not much else I'm looking for. Unless a big special Dagger improbably materializes, at which point I cheerfully write a very large check to go with the outbound Shiv. (What ? You've never fantasized ?! Pffft.)
