***PRICE-DROP***K18 for sale. I bought this post pre-order on a Friday sale sometime earlier this year. It is unboxed, admired and put away. I have another one that I play with. I love this thing but something had to give. I recently bought a camping shell for my truck and got in on the Shiv. $3200 PP G&S or $3100 $2800 PP F&F or Zelle. I can meet face to face anywhere within an hour of San Diego. I would really like to avoid G&S. I only have a couple of reviews but a lot of activity. Includes both sets of scales.

This has come up before, so I’ll add this here (feel free to remove NTM/ Blues).

This would cause administrative headaches on team Carothers, so you have to wait and deal with delivered items only.
 
There are no changes or cancellations to a pre-ordered item. If a person wishes to abandon their deposit we will put it towards the CPK beer fund. If you want to buy someone's K20, you can buy it from them but, I'm sorry, there is no taking over someone's slot in a pre-order. Once it is set it is set. The only changes to a pre-order are for change of address.

Early in my career I was taking lists and accommodating lots of changes and it led to people falling through the cracks and lots of problems. I'm sorry, this is a machine shop not Amazon, we are not able to accommodate a large amount of secondary administrative rework, it makes the lists unmanageable and will lead to the end of pre-orders. If someone wants something that someone else has ordered on pre-order, they are welcome to buy it from them, but the CPK has no role in that exchange.

Got it, relatively new to the BladeForums, so learning the ins and outs. I hope I can get lucky and catch one of the K20s on the secondary market!

P.S. I think what you’re doing at CPK is some amazing work, and hopefully there will be more releases like the K20 in the near future!

Carothers Dek1 3V

This is a recent catch and release that was new. It has green micarta scales with black liners and the blued titanium screws. I wore it over the weekend camping and used it to open a package. It's a super light user, if that. ;) Asking $375 FF *Sorry no G&S as I'm past the limit *

WTB: If anyone got Double Red scales on their SDFK and had a change of heart, please let me know and I will purchase the scales from you! I also have buffed Black or OD Green Micarta SDFK scales I can trade for them. Will also purchase any variation of the SDFK knife with Double Red sales attached if you aren't feeling the knife itself.

Also interested in Double Red scales for any of the FK1, FK2, BFK, HDFK, UF2, DEK1, or Choppers. Will buy or trade for with or without blade attached. ;)

FOUND - Want to buy - Anyone have green canvas scales for a HDFK? Unbuffed preferred, used is fine ( I’m pretty sure I can un buff buffed scales as well - steel wool is magical ).

I’ve got a slight addiction to Green Canvas Micarta - enable me please.
