The Damasteel patent is expired so it wouldn’t matter anyway. Plus if you use barstock made from the powder (as is typical) then the patent wouldn’t be infringed.Larrin Damasteel is patented (and popular) but can you make a Damascus of MagnaCut and another powder metallurgy steel?
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a father and son collaboration. What would Larrin mix with MagnaCut to make Damascus?
MagnaCut has excellent corrosion resistanceLarrin how well does Magnacut hold up against perspiration? Got a Les George Magnate incoming to replace my stripped RMD. Stripped sr101 does not like sweat.
Currently, I believe a collaboration with Horseright or Winkler is in order.Instead of "Raindrop" he can make "SonDrop" since his son came up with the steel.
Not my call.Currently, I believe a collaboration with Horseright or Winkler is in order.
What say you?
