The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

So I received the numbered Mnandi and after some emails with CRK, this has been confirmed as Ziricote inlays. This wood is actually quite amazing. In the light it puts off some beautiful light-colored grain that really makes it pop! I tried my best to capture it.





Also, I just received back from the spa a large lefty Box Elder that used to be LW's. It came back with doubles and a new lanyard.

Yeah, that's not Blackwood,for sure. just beautiful, too! And that Box Elder is always a beautiful sight!

I REALLY like Box Elder, and that is probably the nicest Box Elder I have seen. I've looked at quite a few pictures of them for sale, and a lot of them
have small dark spots in the wood, and for some reason that really bugs me. It really distracts from the beauty of the wood IMHO
 
Needed a new user, as a buddy of mine wanted to have my large 21 KnifeArt Exclusive, with CF scale and insingo blade :-)

As I have been very impressed by the universal cutting capabilities of the insingo blade, but on the other hand of course wanted something different, there is not that much choice. So I ordered this one:

I am pretty sure that the robust micarta inlays will add some belly and some extra grip to the knife.

Great knife for day to day stuff and more. I really regret selling every Sebenza that I have let go of but none more than my micarta Insingo for routine use.

Congrats! Yes - the micarta, or wood, inlays will add "some belly" and grip to the knife (maybe even more important on the smalls)....
