It was easy..just makin the rounds of places that may have something collectible and this showed up..I passed up opportunities before..just couldn't pass this one up.
I will certainly keep you in mind when it comes time :)

Expecting a small 21 CGG "Gold Leaf". Many times I thought to myself "well, that is a beauty", but never pulled the trigger. Acquired a small regular CGG "Vines" two, three weeks ago and now I figured that a "Gold Leaf" and a "Vines" would be a great pair.

Does anyone know whether the Gold Leaf CGG was discontinued? Just observed during the last weeks/months that they hardly appear at the shops. As CRK has introduced new wood inlays and discontinued some wood inlays, maybe they did similar with the CGG designs?

That one was discontinued earlier this year. The released several new designs to replace the old ones.
 
I have a large user that I came into recently.

I played around with it a bit before sending it off to the spa.

Then reverted it back to factory before sending it to CRK. Didn't want to give them a heart attack.

Snagged an old pivot Umnumzaan with a Brad Southard backspacer, it just has to make the short hop from Switzerland to Canada

That is really nice! Your pic? Small or Large?
 
Yes, very nice indeed, untytled. I'd love to see the birth card on that one. It almost looks like it is a reverse contrast. The pheasant tails I'm familiar with have a more polished looking scale. Maybe it's just the photo though.

Many thanks. It's polished, it's just the angle of light making it look that way. Reverse contrast would look really neat however.

I'll post more when it shows up. :thumbup:
