Do you mean 2021?when I ordered a Mnandi from CRK in January 2020, there was an 8-month wait time — and now, 22 months later, nada.
Indeed, I do. Thanks for catching that — edited accordingly.Do you mean 2021?
Nice!!!!! I think you’ll love it.Well, the Pacific finally made it to my door. Never thought this would ever happen, so I'm pinching myself. Have always enjoyed photos here of the Pacific in action -- particularly the wilderness shots supplied bykidcongo . Looking forward now to a few adventures of my own...

Got one as well. I literally blocked the time off on my Outlook cal at 12 PM to be sure I got one before they sold out. I was surprised they didn't go faster than they did.I scored one of these today. I was shocked they were available for about a half hour.
Nice, I got one too. I’ve been waiting a long time for this one.I scored one of these today. I was shocked they were available for about a half hour.
So what is the story with the material? (I've been out of action the past two years, but I got an email, saw it, and had to have it)Nice, I got one too. I’ve been waiting a long time for this one.
I’m not sure. It’ll be my first look at Elforyn Super Tusk in person. Maybe someone with a Sebenza 31 from the recent run with this micarta can chime in. If not, we’ll find out soon!So what is the story with the material? (I've been out of action the past two years, but I got an email, saw it, and had to have it)
I know it is Micarta, but is it textured like the older ivory ones? (which I think they have discontinued completely?)
With the blade profile, that old clip and the hardware finish I didn’t think this was S30V era, more like bg42. And it looks awesome.it’s here! Just cleaned it up. Was billed as s30v. Slabs stamped A98 and no V stamped on blade leads me to believe this is a bg42 regular. But I am no expert at all. No birth card or box with the knife.View attachment 1826957
Whew, that's a hell of a pic for your 4th post! Welcome to BF! Those are some absolute beauties. Yea that cabochon really does look amazingly like Earth! Not technically inbound since they both arrived already, but wanted to share my excitement anyway… Been searching for each of these for a while and they both popped up on the same day this week.
Love how the Chrysocolla Cabochon Inlay has different shades of blue and green and so much depth in person (really does look like Earth). Was afraid it would be a plain blue ball from some of the stock pics but definitely one of those things that is so much better in hand.
Snakewood may be my favorite wood inlay of them all but I am relatively new to the hobby so never really had a chance to get one when they were readily available.
Happy to have both finally.
