Just got off the phone with CRK. I'm deciding on whether I'll be ordering a UG scale or CGG scale from them for my inbound Spirograph Large Sebenza 21 :D :D

What design are you favoring? And how much is a scale?

I just ordered a plain one for mine. I love the look of plain Ti with Damascus.

You know, I was thinking that Crop Circles would be a great fit for the Spirograph blade, so if I go CGG then that one. If I go UG then I will try to get a design with blue and purple with some sort of cabochon. I think that the CGG scales are $225ish. I did not ask this time I called but another time they quoted me right around there. I have no clue what the UG would cost.

Too bad they don't make one of those Damascus pattern scales in spiro, that would be cool.

Agreed. On the upside, I (like anyone else who is patient and slightly creative) can mimic some of Devin's patterns by hand onto blasted accessories, then anodize them in contrast.

So you might see a pattern on the clip, yet. Although not as cool as a whole scale :)
 
Thanks a lot! It was really just by chance. I was having a friend over here, talking about Mnandi's and I just took the iPad to show him some picks at Neil's shop and bang! New ivory Mnandi just uploaded to the shop ...... with shaking fingers pulling out the credit card of the wallet and there we go :-) As one said above: do not hesitate a minute!

Really enjoying how everybody is "behaving" here and showing appreciation for each others findings!
