The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Well I did not get to post photos of this knife when it was in the mail, but I wanted to get a pic up anyway. The anticipation was high last week for sure.

Just received over the weekend: Large Snakewood Sebenza 21, my favorite wood inlay, and this one has some great contrast and figure. Came to me lightly used, which makes it easier for me to put it in my pocket. Otherwise it just might be too nice for me to carry.

Gorgeous looking snakewood Bladecommander !!!!
The more I see of the wood inlays, the more I like them. Great pics.

Thanks guys. I am really liking this one. I have a couple other Lg. wood inlays that will not get any love any more. They will probably become smalls some time in the future. Which will lead to more anticipation posts lol.

Wife asks: Are you finally done collecting CRK's?
Me: NEVER, why would you say that.
Wife: I haven't signed for a package in over a week.
Me: [emoji50]
A few inbound this week...

Very nice lookin' knives, Terry. You got 2 of them at a " I can't refuse" price tho.

The ti lock is coming today, you'll get it back after the first snow fall. :D:D

Darn brick and mortar store!!! I took a trip expecting to buy one knife, probably a CRK. This is what happened and if I had brough more cash with me, there would have been more new knives. Even though I have quite a few Sebenzas, both of these are firsts for me.

Mission accomplished!

This one was missing for my personal little collection goal and I am extremely happy that I kept my eyes open, checking the shops on daily basis, knowing that CR has announced end of last year not to take any new orders on mammoth ivory inlays and just fullfilling some old pending orders while the mammoth material in stock lasts.

My target was to have one large 21 Sebenza with damascus blade of each available inlay material (not talking about old dealer specials and annuals, which are difficult to find).

So now I have:

mammoth ivory
mammoth bark ivory
Micarta
KnifeArt full cf scale
Blade HQ cf inlay
plain jane
snakewood
gabon ebony
bocote
box elder burl
cocobolo

all with damascus blade .... :D:D:D

And I am about to finish the same line up (excl. micarta and cf, of course) for Mnandi

Great looking knife! ^^^ Can't wait for your pics of it.

As for me, I've been wanting to try out a CF to see how they feel. I was thinking about asking to borrow one, but a good opportunity ro rent one came along instead...

You should post that blade pic you showed me. Good honest wear on that one.

I can't help but wonder if the appearance of wear is merely someone's attempt at polishing the blade in the lengthwise direction. I guess I'll just have to wait to see.

Cory,

Great find my friend! Looks like it's in great condition.

Let me know if you want a mate to your new P. I have a lonely one in excellent condition with a polished ATS34 blade. A person shouldn't have just one. ;)

Thanks for sharing,

Ralph

Does it have graphics?

Ha! Thanks buddy. If only I had the funds... I darn near picked up the 25 you were selling before buying this one. I just hope it's not hammered when I get it here.

LW - you crack me up :D:p

Gorgeous!

Not anything fancy this time, a plain 25 Lefty. What I like about this one is that in spite of it being born this year, it shipped in one of the older style boxes.

It's been a while since I used a CRK.

I have been on a long running binge of buying, selling, and trading, all in the quest for the "right" EDC. I found my old small Regular in the basement recently and sent it out for some work. That got me interested again and now I have a micarta 25 on the way.

I am stoked.

Congrats in getting back to CRK... I am pretty curious and interested to see that small regular you have... bg42 blade?
