I remembered seeing a thread discussing the old CRK boxes and the new boxes. So anywho I bought a large Sebenza from an internet dealer and got it today. Nothing special about the knife just a large plain 21 with dual blue thumb lugs. Turns out it was new stock, made Aug 11, 2016. This must be the latest version of the packaging. I took a few quick shots to give you the general idea. To really appreciate it I guess you will have to buy another CRK. :D

Love it! Looking forward to my next purchase. Also puts to bed all those calling the 21 a "clip point" in error. There is no clip point 21. It's an optical illusion created by the shape of the grind. Hold a ruler on the back side of your 21, no curve upwards whatsoever. The Mnandi has a clip point, but that's it. it drives me crazy (clearly).....even 'The Apostle P" youtube channel states the knife has a subtle clip point, but it doesn't. So.....I am happy CRK has called the 21 a drop-point, which is what it is. "spear Point" is maybe ok too, but not "clip".

I really like it. Especially the folder to hold everything. Very modern. Looks awesome.

Yea, that's sleek. So the 21 is a drop point, huh? Wow...learn something new everyday.

I think I might like this new box. I was a huge fan of the older cardboard boxes, the other "new" boxes just did not seem to hold up well. But this looks like it is sturdy.

Thanks Thomason for these pics:) Love threads like this when someone unveils a new CRK product or in this case, "packaging". I agree, looks awesome!

I think the packaging finally matches the quality of the knife. Beautifully clean and elegant. Couldn't be happier about the update. Thanks for posting.

Love it! What a thoughtful and clean presentation. Nothing over the top, but everything well thought-through and well executed (just like their knives).

Yes. The Birth card is clean, but lacks the character of earlier, hand written examples. But the totality of us are never 100% satisfied with everything.

I think I heard that the new box won't fit in a small flat rate Priority box. Is that accurate?
