The fixture is a piece of heavy-walled pipe welded to some box tube.

Here's another pic of the top.

I've shown in in shoptalk before.

The hawks head is 1065 forged from two 7" pieces.

I'm familiar with that technique . It's pretty handy, but you've got to be careful. I've had a few bars that were a little too hot make things uncomfortable .
