The Culloden

O

Ogre

I ordered it from ABC Direct... Ordered Thursday morning - it arrived Friday afternoon... it was shipped Priority mail. That was cool of its self.

ABC takes good care in shipping - box was with in a box that was well padded.

LOVE ABC-Direct!

Oh - the Knife... The Culloden is the SHARPEST knife I have ever had out of the box! I am talking scary sharp! The grinds are great with no faults, and the blade is plain edged with very clean lines. The little grip takes some getting used to, but the Krayton really makes it stick. Sharp as a needle at the tip. This knife is as deadly as it looks.

The Sheath. Cold Steel ALMOST got it right this time. The Kydex is fine, but Cold Steel put the clip too low. It rides too high. BUT - it really holds close to the body, making it all but disappear, even under a T-Shirt.
However - open carry, it keeps the blade safe and secure.
However, this is a really slick knife, with a really cheap scabbard... I will have to have a real leather one made for this.

Over all, I am very happy... and I am going out to toss a Kaber, eat some Hagus, and knock back some pints of Ale!

Aye, there's a lad who has his priorities straight. Don't forget to wink at the lassies between pints. You can test your knife opening the haggis.

I recently got a Culloden on a trade and the grind is pretty thick at the edge, I expected it to be a lot thinner, since I'm going to the blade show I guess I can compare it at the CS booth and see if maybe my knife was an older model or something, I do love the overall shape of the knife and agree with Ogre that the handle takes some getting use to, but it does stick to the hand fairly well. I wish it was thinner edged for slicing though!
