the currahee

I have two of them. Very good knife. I have put then through
a lot and they have held up very well. With the Microtech
name on it you know it's quality.

One of the two best knives in this class IMHO. It has little bit less comfortable handle then Mission MPK-S, just because micarta is harder and tang is exposed.

But it was made by Microtech so blade is far superior not only to MPK-S but to many knives even in high quality folder World - in terms of cutting, slicing etc. Very thin edge. Sharpness out of the box exceptional.

Well made sheath.

Thanks, Vassili.

The knife is good but the sheath is very bulky. For the same money you can get Falkniven A1 or A2 that IMHO offers more bang for the bucks, plus it comes with very nice Kydex or Zytel sheath.

They in different class. Currahee is top quality knives and A1 is one level down. If price is not an issue Currahee as I sad share first place with Mission MDK-S in this category - Fallkniven is good knife but far behind Currahee. I am talking about secure and ergonomic handle, blade, steel and of course sheath - and more important - price! They charge just to much for simple knife with plastic handle. However thread is about Currahee,

Sheath - standard military style, can be attached to standard equipment as I understand in many positions.

Thanks, Vassili.
