The Curse Continues......

That stinks not getting anything on the planned hunt. The friendship time was very valuable though I'm sure!

They're thick in VA too. The eastern ones are a lot bigger than the western ones. A few pics.

Very cool photos. Open season all year on coyotes here in VA makes it a bit easier to take care of business.

On the other thread, you mentioned far western VA...anywhere Dickenson Co?

something stinks in Denmark...

or is that Germany? :D

there must be a Zen thing going on ;)

there's always a next time :D

Not always about the hunt, but still bad luck Ethan, sounds like my fishing trips..

Haven't gone in a few years but my buddy and I used to make a trek out to Eastern Oregon, (around Burns), every year. Lots of coyote, jackrabbits, and sage rats. Every now and then we'd come across Rock chucks, and badgers as well.
The farmers grow a lot of alfalfa out that way, as well as raise cattle. They were always real happy for us to come out and reduce populations.
Then, unfortunately, a couple groups of a-holes came out one year and started taking pot-shots at cows and some out-buildings...
The farmers got pretty ticked, (understandably so), and decided to stop letting anyone on their property, and instead, contract out for pest control...
I really miss those trips :-(
We scouted out a big plot of BLM land last year for jackrabbits and coyote, but unfortunately schedules haven't permitted any excursions lately...
