My first feedback for this excellent forum and its no less excellent community will be for the Cutlery Shoppe and its manager, Jeff.
I am a knife afficionado from France, and my fellow euro bros know how hard it can be to buy knives in the USA. The Cutlery Shoppe has a nice exclusive I was lusting after for quite some time but they didn't ship to France. After trying my luck and contacting them, Jeff proposed by himself to ship the knife to France. He shipped it himself the day after, and even sent me a photo of the package. All along, he took the time to answer all my questions and indulged my requests. When my knife arrived, I noticed how it was very carefully packed, with all kind of goodies.
Oh yes, I had to send him a message stating that because of a mislabel I was over charged on the duty taxes, he immediately refunded me the difference.
So in the end you have big online companies who draw unicorns and such for you, and you have companies like The Cutlery Shoppe who make you feel like a privileged customer and confident in your purchase.
