I just want to take a minute to share my appreciation for what's become my favorite dealer:

I've had a lot of REAL MIXED (to put it politely) experiences with various internet knife dealers over the last several years.
BUT, I have to say that Bayou LaFourche Knifeworks really impressed my the first few times I surfed their site and the first time I ordered and has continued to prove themselves over the several orders I've placed with them since I first found them.
(Granted, other online dealers are pretty good and gave me a decent price and good service MOST or SOME of the time.)
Bayou Lafourche Knifeworks is one of only two knife dealers that have a PERFECT record of giving me darn-good service and they tend to be a little cheaper with their prices than #2 (but not quite the selection).
They're also the ONLY knife dealer where I've been able to pay extra for faster shipping and ACTUALLY gotten my knives REALLY fast. (Ordered LATE Sat night, received FIRST THING Wed AM)
I like that I've been able to "pre-order" knives that are coming out soon to be sure that I GET one of the earlier ones. (And I have, and quickly.)
One more thing: They always have a few great deals on goodies in their "Specials" and "Closeouts" sections. At the very least, you should check their site for those once a week or so.
So anyway, if you've never heard of them or have only checked their site sometimes you should definately give them a try!
P.S. If you're Bayou Lafourche Knifeworks and you're reading this... Don't let it go to your head and start slacking!
