The Den of Demko: Let's see your Demko and Demko-designed knives!

My first two knives, both Demko. 20S followed by the 20.5 Ti. Wishing I could find a 20 (non-S) as well. Love these things. Demko bug bit me quickly for their design and brutal strength.

Many of my favorite Cold Steel are at least partly Demko . :thumbsup:

Any Tri-ad lock folder and IIRC some fixed blades like the Mini-Tac .

(Middle one is Alan Folts designed "SPEW" .)

I know CRKT gets a lil bad rap around here, but I like their Siwi and Clever Girl blades. Honorary Cold Steels, lol.

Lots of good , innovative designs from CRKT , but most often they cheap out and fall short on actual production values /quality .

So many times they've sucked me in with a great concept , only to disappoint with their final product .

They've worked hard to earn their bad rep .

My SPEW is a cool knife , very well designed . But the CRKT version came with a sheath that needed work to just to retain the knife and steel that was barely adequate even for SD use .

At least the tip bent , rather than broke . But bent too easy for much utility use ,IMO .

But just for stabbing an assailant , even those CS plastic knives work OK . ;)

Their steel choices aren’t exciting too. Cool concepts, but the execution could use some improvement.

I sold/traded them both.
Photowork by me.

Yes, by BGM knives
Very nice! I actually have the same AD20 with the carbon fiber.
I've thought about doing a regrind on mine, but I think when I get the time I'll just do a reblade in Magnacut.

It's the easiest knife to open n close with gloves that I have. I didn't think they'd catch the ramp for the lock when I first got it. The only time I don't have it on for work is when I need to sharpen or clean it. I take it apart n clean it if the patina spots turn red at all. It had a sick looking splash pattern on it before the last time from shotgunnin a jug of def into a forklift, but it started turning red in spots. With baking soda n rubbing maybe a little vinegar the blade will look like new. The scales got some concrete stuff on them I could probably get off with an ultrasonic cleaner. Would it look as badass though?
