It was a really good movie. Much better than House of 1000 Corpses. It was filmed very well. William Forsythe was kick a$$ as the Sheriff. If you want to go watch a good a$$ kickin' movie this one is for you. A little on the gory side, so if you don't like blood then stay away.

i was wondering if that movie was going to be any good. and yes Labella i am stalking you. :D :p
stalkers are good!

ha ha ha!

JD!~:D

Finally got to see the movie today. First showing here where i live.

Very well filmed compared to House of 1000 Corpses. And yes William Forsythe was good as the Sheriff. Almost didn't recognise him.

And Sheri Moon Zombie is still hot and Rob Zombie is making sure that he shows her off well in the movie.

The movie had quite a good soundtrack too. I think Rob Zombie really improved on his directorial skills on this one. I'm thinking he might make a movie about those Unholy Two guys.

Should I see House of 1000 Corpses first to get the backstory/plot? I read really short review and it sounds like it picks up where that movie left off. Or, is there really no story, just gory?

DR kicked ass, it's the first movie in a long time that I actually paid to see twice. Not really a need to see HOTC before though. The movie really stands alone from the first.

"Now, you aint gonna f*#k these chickens are ya?" :D

That chicken bit had me laughing real hard. Lots of horror movie personalities in the movie. The guy from the Original Dawn of the Dead and the guy from The Hills Have Eyes are in the movie too.

Yeah it was a great movie, very gritty, almost like a old western with crazy weirdos!

Hmmmm, interesting. I just read a review of this movie in the Chicago Tribune, and it got zero stars!

That's probably a badge of honor. This movies ain't out to be like Gone with the Wind.

Good moive, but very strong (bad) language, nudity and gore if any offends don't bother going to see it. Had some great lines in it though.

BTW USAFSP Your avitar looks like a KKK rally poster.

I was surprised Ebert & Roeper gave it two thumbs up. Tons of 70's stars that I didn't even recognize on the first viewing. Dark haired girl from Too Close For Comfort, PJ Soles from Halloween. Really a cool movie.

Don't forget the Blonde chick from Three's Company, The one that replaced Chrissy. I noticed the dark haired girl from Too Close for Comfort but could not remember the name of the show.

I saw it last weekend. Very entertaining. The couple in front of my wife and me walked out once the good stuff started :D

Ok, I don't want any spoilers, but is Dr. Satan in this movie? My wife won't go see it with me, so I guess I'll wait till it comes out on DVD.

........because its just so damn taaasty!
