so it has arrived. here is a comparison with what happened on the charlie special I traded for during the rendezvous.

there is a spot on the blade that I cant seem to describe properly.

At least this double will be able to go in the pocket.

since its got some cosmetics issues.

i got it from Ken that way in a trade, who bought it earlier in the queen show. Didnt make much of a fuss because I was hoping to get rid of the Tiger Eye 48, and was missing this one. After much analysis, im going with factory. Wonder what theyll do for that next year at the rendezvous

You know, there is just something about that diamond jack. Two years ago when I first met Charlie at my first rendezvous, Charlie had taken out a special 48 that was rescaled in something highly reminiscent of something Ted Nugent would carry. (it had a snake skin pattern! ) I didn't think much of it as my preferred style for the 48 is a big clip 48 in single blade. I have often remarked upon this in various threads, with the big clip over the muskrat blade. Now diamond jacks were run the other year, and I managed to get around 5 of em by the last count, a few moved back out, one sold for a charity event though sadly went missing by USPS sorry @Old Engineer and another was gifted to a new collector who never held a gec before. I was back down to my original three for the set. After some time I found myself missing a user diamond jack, but no longer! This bad boy dropped in today, a new user for me!
