The Doctors Bowie

Thanks guys. This is a product of 3 people. I wish I could take all the credit. I am enrolled in the GRS School of engraving next year but it may be awhile before I put my own scratchings on a knife for sale.

Yeah I am sure it'll take you like forever.
That's forever for us mortals but about 2 weeks in "Bruce Bump Time". ;)

Thanks for sharing your work with us and all those building tips. Really appreciated.

Outstanding! One of the best you've done. Of course, all of your knives are one of the best you've done.

Great job. If I had the $$$, it would be the centerpiece in my collection.

Everyone already said pretty much what I was thinking! Awesome work Bruce!

I just wish I were a doctor! :D -Matt-

Beautiful job Bruce! How about sometime doing a tutorial on the clay coating and tempering method you use. I have some W2 steel and some Parks 50 coming this week. I had gotten somewhat bored with knifemaking, but the beautiful temper line you and others are getting has really re-kindled my interest in knifemaking.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the nice words,
The clay coating helped bring back some interests for me and plain carbon steel. I cant make a Don Hanson crazy hamon but seem to have my own look which I'm happy enough with for now at least. You have the same steel and oil as me so lets see what you come up with. Its exciting again isnt it?

What's it like to be the Michael Angelo of knife making, Bruce?
You're knives are always perfection and works of art!!!
You are in a class of your own my friend!!!!

It is about the best thing I can think about doing with the rest of my life. I'm free to make anything I want.
(as long as it sells)
Thanks so much for the swollen head now.

Nice design as well as embellishment. This is one of those knives that has fancy touches but works together very well and looks not at all awkward. Thanks for letting us check it out.

Bruce,

Thank you for taking the time to share your creations. You are truly an artist, and I have "some" sense of what it takes to create a piece such as this.

Thanks again,

Robert

Okay Bruce... I had to add this pic to the overall collection - the consumation of an amazing creation... And everyone I show it to is in awe as well...
