The Dreaded Phone Call

I was able to speak with him today and he is going to be ok. It was not actually a grenade it was a metal teapot filled with 5 pounds of explosives. He has a bad headache but they expect him to return to duty within 14 days. I really appreciate all your kind words, and prayers. I told him you wanted to send cards he said just thank an veteran you know. All he wants sent to him is a new picture of his nephew. I will get that out tommorow. You guys are really awesome and this thread proves what I already thought about the great community here at bladeforums.

So..I just happened to wander this far back in posts and saw this. My prayers and gratitude are there for your brother and family. Hell, my little brother just got back from Iraq and I really feel for anyone who has family there.
