The dreaded wait

I like the two loop idea, if only there was a way to have the 2 loops and still be able to vertical carry if i wanted ill email david brown, tracking says MO will be there the 19th. Im more than used to having items on my belt becomes second nature.Once again thanks a bunch for the knife.

I'm sure a good Kydex bender like those we have here on the forums could work something up with loops mounting them for horizontal carry and in the same way as Tek-Lok's. That way you could switch between horizontal and vertical at will. Loops for horizontal, tek-lok for vertical. Something like these which are incidentally available from knifekits.com.

If the post man gets here early enough in the afternoon on Thursday I will get it mailed that day. Keep your fingers crossed.

Make sure you post some pictures when you get it....;)

Congrats on score! Waiting is never easy, I'm waiting on a ASHBM currently 8 weeks in, hoping to get the email soon!

Easiest way to ease the impatient waiting for a Busse is to order or buy one every day. Once that "First Two Weeks" is past the you have one arriving EVERYDAY thereafter... !!!! :D :D It works for me.... ;) By tomorrow I will have ordered 11 Busse/BusseKin blades since Wednesday.....  (OK...in reality only three are for me....but it IS fun to say).... ;)

Andy, that is just mean to tease me that way. I wonder how long I could do it before I end up in bankruptcy?

I've been waiting more than ten weeks for my battle mistress. .Im sure looking foreward to it though.my sheath might even be ready bye the time I get it.I think I orderd it at the same time from skystormleatherworks

...using my example...about a month, two if you have buyers ready for your "excess" internal organs.... ;) You could save a $ and remove the more accessible ones yourself... ;)

mine is scheduled for delivery Monday, big thanks les

Congrats and welcome to the Busse family  Make sure you post some pics of it for us :D

Thanks, 3 days and counting ill post pics when she gets here and after she has her clothing removed.
Congrats and welcome to the Busse family  Make sure you post some pics of it for us :D

Man congrats on one of the best blades!!! I know each of us have been down that waiting road more than once. I have had over 100 Busse's and I still get excited even if it's a GW, you know one of the little guys. That anticipation is a good thing though. Makes you appreciate what you have when you do get it.:D  Congrats again!!!

Could someone here give me the oa length and blade length of the ash? I'm betting there were likely numerous blade lengths made, but whats the average length and blade length of an ASH-1? (trying to compare to TGLB specs)

ASH1 Blade 6.50 Overall 12.00 Weight 21.0 oz. Thickness 0.320
ASH1 LE Blade 6.50 Overall 12.00 Weight 15.2 oz. Thickness 0.225

There are variations such as skinny ASH (.195) and SE's typically around .22. This site will answer a lot of questions like this on Busse knives: www.bussecollector.com

Thanks, I just got the knife and belive me I appreciate it lol hands down the best knife I've ever held now the love starts lol
