The dream is real; The Tuxedo Espada.

That's a beauty Congrats, I've always wanted to try one of those out myself. I wonder why the prices have come down on the bolstered and better looking imo Espadas? I do like the dlc coated blade also.

The AUS8 version has been discontinued and most vendors are trying to clear out their stock. The new XHP version of the polished espada just landed in the last couple days.

Bucking fawesome!

My only gripe with the bolstered Espada line... no clip for left hand carry.

They're a lot of fun to carry if you can legally carry one. Local knife laws for folders cap out at 5.5", so I'm juuuuuuust able to carry it (and do!)

When I'm at work, though, I tend to carry something a little more subdued - like a 4" Talwar in XHP and a Pro Guard on a Tek-Lok.

I get away with a lot by being muscular. People just assume I'm ex-marine or something. Truth is, I'm just a nerd who is nerdy about exercise, knives, games, and astrophysics. I couldn't knife-fight my way out of a paper bag :D

The knife laws are so ambiguous where I live that I just carry whatever I want because I'm not doing anything wrong.

I do tend to carry smaller knives to work as well because I work in customer service and I don't wanna scare anybody.

I'm far from a Cold Steel guy, but that looks very neat. Isn't it fun when a project actually works out like it's supposed to? Good work!

I don't know how to deal with the pins, I'm sure I can learn. That is the only thing daunting me from attempting this project right now. However, I'm soon going to make myself one of these. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice!

Another option is to sell the G-10/AUS-8A version on the exchange to get back some of your money.

IIRC, I just unscrewed the damned thing and it was super simple and easy.

Ironically, Sillyship PM'd me about the project because he saw the G10 / AUS8 version on the exchange, and I linked him to this thread, which he then bumped, which caused you to see it and make that post.
