The dumbest eBay CRAP I've ever seen.

Not exactly my idea of tasteful home decor, but...

There's an old saying about one man's poison...

And it's not exactly the most outlandish thing I've ever seen on eBay. One of our own bf.c members offered to sell his friendship on eBay but withdrew at the last minute when the high bidder turned out to be named something like "DeadSkinMask."

It doesn't look real to me. That "silver" work on the outside looks more like plastic, or silver-painted resin. Wouldn't be the first available realistic-looking resin skull.

I have a feeling that if this were really a 500-year-old skull of a tibetan monk, some antiquities experts would be in possession of it, not some ebay schmuck.

Lots of bids too.

I think if this was the real thing, Tibetian monks would be in possesion of it.

500 years old my ass. ... I bought skull beads that looked to be about the same age for a Halloween costume...they were $2.50..and the silver work..Ill bet its tin foil..oh well dont see anyone rushing to bid on this trash..

I don't know what the fuss is about. I already bought my one of a kind $500 Tibetian skull last week on e-Bay. I keep my Busse Combat Folder in it.

Who would sell their friendship and back out at the last minute because he was scared of the guys name? This guy must be a TOTAL pussy...:D

Hmm, I remember a guy selling 6 months of friendship being interviewed on a local radio morning show. But I thinkhe lived in the NE. There was also one for a guy selling the chance for him to kick the winner's ass. Not only did they pay for an ass-kicking, they also covered airfare, and there was something about him being allowed to kick their spouse's and children's asses as well :D

Hehe, I've been known to "store" my combat knives in skulls too. At least I've really, really wanted to on a few occasions.

Believe it or not, it could be a real skull. At a local rock and jewelry show a few years ago, they were selling carved Tibeten monk's knee caps (carved to show an image of a skull) -- and boy did they stink! Also beads made of finger and toe bones. The vendor had import papers from the U.S. Gov. identifying the items. Yeech!!

I note that there are 0 bids for the item as of this point.
