Hello All...wanted to update everyone on the status of a few matters in one convenient place...
1) Team Busse has, as you already know, been dealing with the E-Wave and dealing with it well I might add...direct customers and dealers around the globe have been receiving their Busse Combat blades and sharing their thoughts privately in the form of voice/e-mail, and here on the forums...as expected, some comments are luke warm, but the overwhelming majority is WOW!!!!
If you have not received your E model yet, sit tight, as it is en route to your doorstep.
2) The name contest for the new bolo inspired tactical knife is reaching a close...I know I have posted this before, but I mean it this time
Seriously, the delay in ending the contest has simply been due to the required work and emphasis on getting the E's out the door.
3) The Badger Attack E is next on the production schedule of the E line, and the response to the pic of this terrific knife has been fantastic!!! If you have not seen it yet, click here http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum39/HTML/000654.html The final version will be coated of course. Expect a specific post on the latest delivery schedule of this model in a day or two...
4) The Lean Mean Street has undoubtedly been the most ordered knife during the month of September...the perfect daily carry knife...a pic of the prototype, if you have not seen it, can be viewed here... http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum39/HTML/000582.html The final version will have a lanyard hole in the butt, the signature talon hole, and probably be coated, but possibly bead blasted. If you own one of the original protos hang on to it!!! Variant value abounds!!!
Supply numbers and time is seriously running out on securing a knife from this limited run...expect a detailed post about the production schedule on this particular model in the near future.
5) The Busse Combat, bolo inspired, tactical knife will soon have a name....and when it has a name, we'll show you the face, and when you see the face, you'll know it's almost ready, and when it IS ready, you can rest assured you won't be...because this thing is AWESOME!!! I expect to be posting a pic soon (again, I know I have said this already, but work with me on this one...)
Orders have abounded to the Busse Team, sight unseen on this model, as the expected response is HUGE. In Jerry's typical fashion, he does not sacrifice design ideas or performance, and waits until his creative flow is complete before releasing a model.
...to date, NOT ONE, Busse Combat model has failed in its job of satisfying the Busse customer base causing it to be dropped from the line...therefore, when it is ready, you can be assured it's the BEST!!!
This knife will also have custom features and package goodies that none of the other knives in the line have, so it makes it VERY special indeed. All I can say is that there is no one more excited than me and the rest of Team Busse about this project...expect a pic and update VERY soon.
