Congrats ! They’ve had that same affect on me. The Shiv 2.0 I’m PATIENTLY waiting on has ECAM scales and seeing yours makes me that much more eager.

Thanks, M! Admittedly, that one hasn't seen much use/time outdoors so the scales still look great. The 3v with TT has been the primary user over the years.

Sorry the for the subpar quality of this photo. I'll try to get better shots with natural sunlight sometime.

From a distance, this set almost resembles wood scales (DIW comes immediately to mind due to the directional grains/pattern).
