I’m selling my EdgeCo knives from the 1980s. As many of you know, The Edge Company sold fully automatic knives in kit form, and the buyers were legally on their own if they decided to assemble them. They stopped selling knives in the mid 1990s. These knives are for the collector who appreciates the history of The Edge Company and its products. The quality was very different back in the 80s, but these were very advanced and highly sought after products at the time.
#1: Model 012 “Mini OTF” aka “The Derringer”
- OTF deployment mechanism functions well, very quick action
- Swiss steel blade
- Tang stamps: ITALY, DLAINLEO(I can’t decipher it)
- 2-5/16” blade length, 3-5/8” closed length
- Notes: scratches & nicks on blade, missing paint on body, plastic thumb piece is solid but the left side is slightly melted
