The elusive BK11 Necker handles...

When are these supposed to come out? Blade has come & gone, I was under the impression they would be out about then, for retail customers.

Anyone have any info.?
 
They were shown at the Blade show. Many of us expected them to be out around that time, too. Then the word was, apparently, "around six weeks." That should mean that they will be out soon.
 
Has anyone heard any updates on the BK11 handles? I know that the full size micarta handles are available now, but I haven't seen anything for the Necker handles yet.
 
I haven't heard a word for awhile. Maybe Mr. Becker would be kind enough to check in and tell us.
 
I couldn't wait anymore, so I made my own handle.
Just finished it a couple of hours ago.
I am no fancy guy, so I made it with Olive wood. I put quite some work into it, and like it a lot.

Pics will be posted tomorrow, when I can lay my hands on a camera and enough sunlight.:) It's 0135 right now.... crazy O.o

Sorry for the wait. The first protos were at Blade but needed some modifications.
We are getting the next iteration this week. So things are moving in the right direction but I'm sure not fast enough for all of you.
We will post when Ethan approves.

Here are the pictures of my modified 11 with stabilized Olivewood handles...
I also had to modify the sheath a little, so it can accommodate the new handle...
