I mailed Emerson about possibly having a knife made ~ I got a reply guess Mr Emerson is no longer taking orders for custom knives.

They won’t make one specifically for you but he does customs and then they do an auction. You have to join the auction on June 9th and hope you get one. They land around $800+. But they sell for way more on the secondary. I believe you need to join the ECA (Emerson Collectors Association) program to get the emails about this and be able to join.

On a side note, as for upgrades, the thumbdisk is the main thing I change. I usually add a monster disk from Pete.

I always wanted a commander in Green or at least green scales ~ I'll change those if I can find a left hand set from Emerson.

That's the Bingo thing about Emerson's scales they are so sticky but still smooth something very unique.

I agree on the wood for a smooth pocket knife ~ So many nice woods out there to pick from ~ each with a different look and feel always liked and even has an appeal when distressed 👍
