Yeah me to Brother!Nice haul! Love those tigers.
Very nice Ed! Are you adding a lanyard with the skull bead?
First day of carry with The Tiger added the 45acp thumb disc I actually filed it down a little pretty sharp out of box around the edges now it’s perfect. Also put the Emerson DP clip on and pretty nice to just bent it down a little since the tip was off the Handle no big deal. Then took some 400 grit sand paper and smoothed out under the clip and lightly around it to save some pocket life. Great action on this one nice centered blade and has the wonderful Emerson hydraulic feeling and thumb flicks open effortlessly.![]()
This is my 3rd Tiger over the years and I keep coming back so it must be a keeper.
It really carries even better now with the DP clip and slides in and out of the pocket one handed no issues. Also no hot spots with the DP clip I was a little worried with the curves compared to the stock Emerson clip which is perfect in hand but the DP is perfection .
Thanks Austin ! I actually have one but haven’t put it on I like it but unless you tuck it in your pocket it has that look at me thing going on lol.Very nice Ed! Are you adding a lanyard with the skull bead?
Love the working finish on that one Austin
Yeah this is the 2nd Emerson I’ve bought with that finish and I like it a lot more than the coated black from previous years. It seems to hold up much better with use.Love the working finish on that one Austin
Nice character Brother![]()
Yeah I think it’s called Thunderstorm or something like that lol . I tried to get it but they were out on the models I chose. But going to try and score one next time in that finish .Yeah this is the 2nd Emerson I’ve bought with that finish and I like it a lot more than the coated black from previous years. Yep that’s the one. Many of the serial numbers are lower on them too.Yeah I think it’s called Thunderstorm or something like that lol . I tried to get it but they were out on the models I chose. But going to try and score one next time in that finish .
That’s awesome, how much did the 6’s go for back in ‘94?My first Emerson was a CQC6 purchased at the NY Knife Show, in 1994. I've owned and sold quite a few of his customs but only have this one in my collection. It's a pretac from the early '90s, you can really see the Michael Walker influence. The anodizing, carved thumbstud and pivot, the liner is machine turned. Berst of all is the terrific blade shape, complete with half moon logo!
