The functioning of a broken in EKI is a thing of beauty. My son borrowed my black combo blade CQC-10 a couple days last week (in place of his long-time edc Benchmade 710) and now I think he finally "get's it" as to my fondness for Emersons. The fact that I have put a seriously sharp convex chisel edge on the straight portion didn't hurt either.
