Thanks guys!! I really appreciate all the good wishes. I'm looking forward to everything (except the bulk of her family:eek: ) a lot. I think the SAK Farmer will be the only blade on me. Not sure yet if my jacket will bulge with my 1911 or not, it'll probably be on me. :D

PS- Her brother is an air force pilot, and we chat sometimes about blades and survival and his SERE experiences. He adores his standard issue Ontario 5" USAF survival blade (though I was able to turn him to the dark side with a Mora Triflex) and he brought one back for me as a gift! Helluva nice wedding present. :thumbup: Picks upon return.

Best of luck to you and your mate. I did the same thing 40 and one half years ago. If you are as happy 40 years from now as I am, then you made a wise choice.

Remember, marriage is not so much finding the right person as it is Being the right person.
 
Congrats!!! Sept will be 13 yrs for me and I honestly wouldn't trade it for the world. Good luck and have a wonderful wedding and life!!
