Wow! This months prize looks awesome. What a beautiful piece of work!

So, since I'm going to win it, can anyone tell me more about it?

I checked Mr. Mayo's site and didn't see anything.

And, just in case by some weird chance that I don't win it, where could I get one?
Thanks

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">I made three of them for Tom Waltz a while back, one for the contest winner, one for the designer and one to give away at a later date (guess that is now!) It is made out of Talonite donated by Tom (Pres. of Carbide Processors Inc) with a Curly Koa handle and leather sheath.

Sorry Kingknives, but since I plan on winning this one, you'll have to see if Tom can make you one.

If I win it, I will give it to another Formite.

No I am not kidding.

Well General,
I don't think I ever told you how much I admire and respect you. Your posts are always insightful, entertaining, well written and pure genius. You know more about knives than anyone else I have read on BF. You are a knife GOD!

(Whew, I hope that works)

That's just in case I don't win and he does!!

LOL!! Why don't I belive you?

Well I don't want it because I know I won't find a use for a blade in that material/size category. Sure it would be nice to keep and look at once in a blue moon, but I would rather give it away to a friend who would USE it than keep it for myself. Life is WAY too short to be mean. That and the exeptional kindness and generosity of some Formites means I want to put something back in. Need I say any more?

I think I will keep the Emerson though... Now that I would USE!!!

All the best.

I've handled Eric's knife - that curly koa handle has a terrific 3D effect when you turn it about. Talonite doesn't hurt either. Just superb work.

Since this contest popped up I have had a number or inquirys about this knife. If anyone wants a knife of this style they need to contact Mr Wong first....thanks.

OR...if you don't want to wait for one, contact me, I might let go of #2 if I'm tempted well enough.

Sorry Jake I was referring to the post by RKnight NOT yours. If I don't want the knife, why would I want some pics?

Nice looking blades, but not a type I would use. Nothing against them, just I prefer a working blade and I am more likely to put it away than use a knife like that (just like the folded steel Katana I have my eye on)

This is why my first custom is a working knife.
