It's amazing what this thing can do. I have experience using just about every high-end survival knife ever made, and the ESEE 6 beats them all. It's not just me because even my friends feel the same way, and the thing is this: I don't even own an ESEE 6, but I want one! LOL.

Come on, Jeff. Does your account have to be banned again? 🤣

(Disclaimer: Jeff Randall is an old pal of mine...though we've been out of touch for a dog's age.)
I honestly don't know the guy, but that's a classic reply!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Sounds like a touchy subject, I'll stand down...

Jeff will always be a friend regardless of past history here. We had too many fun times back in the day getting into trouble in Atlanta and Miami for it ever to be otherwise.

I'm happy for his success. I have a handful of knives he has gifted me over the years, from the Ontario days and beyond.

Anyway, no need to revisit. It's all about the knives here.

So, how about filling us in on the work you've done with it, and tell us about the knives you've compared it to and why it's the best?

Zen koans and the art of the knife.

I'd like to have one, haven't managed to find one in my budget yet.
I don't know about unmatched though, I think the BK7 and BK9 are options, and probably lots of the Busse&kin for people with sufficient budgets. Ontario and Cold Steel too?

I like ESEE's a LOT but I reject the thesis here.
Just about any FB knife is better than no knife in a survival situation. And there are certainly nicer knives at higher prices. Nothing special about ESEE steel for example.
