The ESEE Product Idea Thread

As the title implies, this thread is where you can you talk about your ideas related to ESEE and their products.

I for one wish they would build something like the ESEE-3 but build it to be around the size of an Izula or Izula-II.

Tell me what you think of my idea and contribute your own.

The 3s and Izulas are perfect; I just thought it would be interesting to see a miniaturized 3.

The only things I can think of are: You guys should offer some G10 handle scales as an option for your knives. Also, I don't think you guys offer a serrated version of the Izula. You may want to look into that.
 
Serrations don't really sell very well honestly. When you do a cost/profit/PITA factor analysis and consider that we'd be adding 6 more SKU numbers to the system.......

Dale at TKC is working on alot of really cool G-10 scales but he's got his cards held tight to the chest on what all will be available. Stay tuned....
 
I will say it again, and i know most will disagree... But i would like to see the core blades offered in like 440C or some other tough semi stainless like D2 For us coastal folk:D

But then again my HEST is coming in D2:thumbup:

A 3 and an Izula in 154cm would be the bees knees as far as I'm concerned.
 
Without adding a whole new product I say make all colors available in all knives. I'd buy an orange/green ESEE5, but I'd kill for a orange/od green Junglas!!!!
If it a new product, either a Heavy Machete, or a Tomahawk
 
I have full of ideas for ESEE :

- Izula 3: smaller than the izula 1, excellent for an neck EDC

- a little Izula folder ( same size of a spyderco dragonfly )

- a pouch for the Junglas

- different handles ( colors and materials ) for all ESEE knives

- the logo ESEE engraved on handles because the logo on the blade fades with the use

- A small pouch for Firekit adaptable on all the ESEE sheaths
 
I'd love to see the 3 get a skeletonized handle with perhaps a slight decrease in OAL to make it a real necker. Put some g10 slabs on it about .125 thick each, a textured slab on one side.

Also you have to take the Izula to the next level... The Izulasong! or maybe Balzula.

+1 on the folding Junglas, though as big as that blade is it's going to need to be an automatic. CA-CHUNK!

I would love to see a R.A.T. Pack knife offered again the ESEE 3 with orange handles and black blade

Ehhh, seems to me like cold steels espada extra large already fills the "stupidlylargefolderwithnorealuse" category :p

But.. knowing ESEE, they could make something functional out of that kind of design and I'd be left :foot:
