The ESEE Product Idea Thread

I can't edc anything from ESEE over here. (UK).
So I've been considering a drastic modification of one of my Izulas, into a friction folder.
So how about an Izula slippy???

Don't take the mickey please, its so hard finding a UK legal EDC, thats fit for purpose.

i dont think the warranty could be near the existing one with 440c

When we do the 440C fixed blade line (yes, we have that on the schedule so start one one model then move to another), the warranty will be the same. ;)

ESEE / Randall's Adventure & Training continues to branch out though from the knife industry. Our sewing shop is in its infant stages but coming on board pretty quick. So look for unique sewn goods in the next year or so. Also, we are working on quality (but no so expensive) survival items, kits, EDC stuff, etc.

I know this has been talked about in the past but I would love a 4.25" 5/32" thick uncoated blade without a choil. I think that this would be the absolute perfect knife and would buy a bunch of them. I would also love to see the Izula folder with a 3.25" blade with standard/philips head screws so they can be taken apart with my LM wave.

I also love Shotgunner's 154 cm idea on the Izula and 3

Oh and Jeff I am very excited about the increase in soft products offering.

I really do like the idea of not expanding the line to much and keeping everything KISS.

Wait.. what? Why would you need a blade that thick that small? The ESEE 5 is thick for its size, but it was designed that way for a reason. Any reason you want this one even thicker?

Good catch, I don't and I would hate it. That was a typo on my part I meant 5/32 or 0.156 same as the Izula. Thanks for catching that one and it has been corrected.

I second the tomahawk idea. Something with an indestructible shaft/handle and a broad cutting area.

Tomahawk in Rowen's 1085. Modest size, lightweight to pack, big enough cutting edge to be usable. Useful poll hammer.

yeah if a ESEE survival tomahawk w/ hammer came out I would probably skip buying food to afford it! Use the same logo on it as the 5 and the Junglas I really like this logo its currently the background on my phone.... survival iPhone :D ftw!

just though of this... what if the tomahawk thing had a pry bar on the end opposite of the axe...that way you could hammer, chop and pry with the same tool? of course it would be a PITA to make so the handle wouldn't break when prying but if anyone could figure it out its ESEE.

sort of like the benchmade tactical tomahawk but with hammer instead of a spike

They have everything covered in my opinion as far as knives are concerned...

So if they could just make a survival snuggie already that'd be great...

i would like to see more color options from the izula to the junglas... orange, blue,a brighter green, yellow, red, white maybe ?

i second this motion :thumbup::D

I would like to see a variation of some of the previous suggestions, maybe a 3 with a premium steel such as 154cm but in the same thickness of the Izula which I believe is around 5/32" or an Izula with just a slightly longer blade (cutting edge around 3.25") and in a 154cm.

I, personally would like to see one with a roach belly shaped blade. I would also like to see one in a Nessmuk shaped blade.:D
