The essence - winner announced on post 32

Fausto, well my friend, at nearly the end of a very hard week, that being the end of a very hard year ... I too find my escape to my passion, my friends, to my school of knives and their History and to their now (new) fantastic owners for it is they who actually give me such enthusiasm when they open the doors to their wonderful collections, and yes we all know who they are.
Fausto you are ....can I say an absolute pleasure to get to"know" on here at our home.

This isn't an entry, but a thankful message that hopefully comes out as a genuine thanks to you as one of the absolute TOP guys here, and a message of good will and the most positive wishes to all of our Forum friends here.
That Buck will ( I hope ) go to someone who hasn't owned a Buck , and man...it is going to open their eyes to what a Fantastic Traditional knife is all about, I haven't owned too many Bucks, a few in the fixed blade section, and a good handful of slippies, one is very precious to me.
Enjoy this fantastic give-away folks.

Thank you Fausto for your contribution to this great part of the world.

Fausto, as per our conversation via email I am not in but I figured I would wait a bit to bump this wonderful thread back to the top. Thank you so much for the generosity. Someone will be very pleased with this knife and I know the gesture will be appreciated by all.

I've always liked the yellow bucks and wanted one but never did get one. I'd like to throw my hat in for a chance. Thanks and I hope the coming year is better for all. Ash

Not an entry. I have one of the same. Great little knife. Someone will be very happy to have it.

I will let this running for another 24 hours or so, then casualty will pick the winner.
Take your chance folks!

Congratulations. The Buck 303 is a fine stockman; I think you'll be pleased. Also, thanks to Fausto for running the give away.

Buck is probably the only manufacturer that routinely puts the sheepsfoot on the end opposite the main clip. It looks like a fine specimen, not that old and certainly not used extensively so should have many years of work left in it.

Congratulations on a nice giveaway, Fausto!
A good looking and useful knife!
