I like where this is going. Bacon is my favorite meat and for some reason I always grab a becker when I'm cooking it...

The wife's in there frying bacon. I can smell it.
 
After you eat your bacon and eggs, bacon cheeseburger, B.L.T., or just a big old plate of bacon, it's nice to have a refreshing bacon flavored toothpick.

My bacon preference is for the no nitrites varieties: Vermont Smoke & Cure makes a cob smoked maple bacon that tastes as if it has been sliced from the bellies of pig angels pastured in the heavens...
 
Isn't it funny how you can kinda smell the bacon frying, by a mere look at a photo of it? :D

I was reading a few days ago why bacon is the "gateway meat" for vegetarians; also about some vegetarians that make an exception for bacon. I can tell you this: after 13 years of being a vegetarian, bacon (and pregnancy!) was all it took for my wife to slide into being a carnivore.

Man that smells good. I still need to get my Emberlit out for a whirl. We talked about going for another bike ride today. Perhaps I'll use it then. Supposed to be 64° here.
