The Evil Pair!!!

My boy (3) loves to "fix stuff", and see dads "sharps",, I better watch my stuff close!
He's good about it all though, I've engrained "they're not toys, they're tools" into his brain.

my kids are NOT getting my blades. i'm burying them with me. if one of them is a true knife sykco like i am, they'll dig up my grave, take my INFI and also see the secret note i'll have attached to my fat sack o' knives. it will read "no regrets"

My older son is all about cars. Not sure what the baby boy will be into but he already points and makes car noises at 19 months

I like how you think!

Yeah, a shorty .308 in the 12 inch range would be for fun, not utility.

I keep looking at the 300blk, it is obviously a very versatile caliber and since it was designed for a 9 inch barrel I won't lose any power if I have a barrel short enough to be worth the paperwork.

If you don't mind my asking did you go do the standard paperwork or use a trust?

How do you think the 300blk would do on Midwestern white tail?

We have a trust. With the military moving us so often the trust allows us to leave toys with family when we get sent to someplace we can't take them, as it is with our move to Puerto Rico this summer. It's still the way to go if you want to leave them to kids or allow others to be in possession.

And yea it will work fine on deer, just have to choose super or subs depending on the distance. People use em on hogs and they are tougher than deer

I'm waiting on stamps to return for a nearly identical build. How do you like the PDW stock? Is it pretty solid?

It seemed really solid. Good lockup. No play. Was kinda hard to slide out but that's because he coated the rails too

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to have to get off of my rear and finally get that trust done.

I've been thinking of tricking out my Socom 16 with some match parts since I took it out of the Troy chassis but I think I might just use that money to get a decent 300blk upper for one of my rifles.
