Picked up my first 055 and have been carrying it for three days. It was a blem, but I plan to use this knife a lot. Got one of the Buck family members to engrave his autograph for fun. Also, I picked up a Vantage at North 40 a couple weeks ago because it was on clearance sale. Due to the thicker Diamond wood handles, the clip was too snug and would get stuck on my pocket. Took it with me to the sale, and the folks at Buck happily took it into the factory and had someone sand down the scale a bit to create more space. Got it back to me in less than 5 minutes. I am really growing to like Buck. They have rough fit and finish and wonky grinds sometimes, but I still really like the product and the company.
I'm north of Spokane in Mead. Only been hear about 2 years. Went to the Buck sale last winter and got my first Buck, a 105 Pathfinder. It's my favorite fixed blade. I assume some of y'all are from this area?Where do you live?
