I got my Fallkniven F1 in the mail today and wasn't impressed with it at first because it seemed rather small, but now, I love this thing! It feels like a mini tank and I think that it's a great addition to my small, but expanding collection.
The DC4 however, is a different story. There are some serious gaps between the diamond and the ceramic side and there is resin/epoxy/whatever adhesive is used, all over the ceramic side. I'm sending this one back, but I'd like to know what you guys carry on the field. I want to replace the DC4, I'm not looking for a 3 ft Arkansas Stone that weighs 50 lbs. This will be an "emergency" type of stone since I maintain my blades at home.
Speaking of Arkansas...How are those Smith's 4" Arkansas Stones?
Thanks for the help!
