I will be doing a review of the knife - but before I could do this I had to make a pair of pants for it.

Andy was cool enough to send it to me first and allow me to piggy back on to his passaround with one of mine.

Here are the pics!

Chocolate Brown, Double Stiched at the stress points - thick welt - Firesteel loop - removable dangler.

I personally feel this is my best work to date.

Should I put a lanyard hole in the bottom?

I will do a review of the knife and post it by tuesday - then it is off to the next stop!

Good work, I like the color and dangler option. Good clean stitches too. I say 'yay' on the lanyard hole, just cuz there's other stuff I like to lash sometimes (piece of twine, etc).

Maybe you'd have had it sooner if you weren't playin' with your rocks all the time. :p

now not only do i get to test out the fiddleback, i also get to see an test some of your leather. i would also go for the hole, seems like it would be useful.

No doubt about it, TF, you have some skills. Now, if we could just work on that personality...............

Doc :D

Hey man, your leather work is getting better and better. Keep up the good work!

Great work T.F.

I personally wouldn't use a lanyard whole on that size knife, but it can't hurt. Some like to lash knives to their packs, so the hole will help w/ that.

Nope, Marcelo and his wife were over. I had a few of my special Margaritas:D

Funny thing is, I saw that mistake, and thought I corrected it...

hmmmm... Connecticut  Margaritas ... Good gawd man... Come on down to San Antonio and I'll show you "special margarita". ;):D After two you can't feel your face! We serve them in fishbowls down here... Next thing you know you yankee's will be trying to make chili!;)

Um... anyway... TF I think the sheath looks better without the rivets, as discussed in the sheath forum... nice job!

So your margaritas are the reason Marcelo didn't get my knife in the mail today! Bastid! :D ;)

I learned to make Margaritas in San Antonio:thumbup::cool: Allthough, I didn't serve them infish bowls....

And I can make a helluva chili also:p, I think I might be secretly southern, but don't tell anyone; they might think I'm slow or something:p

LMFAO!!! :D Apologies to TF for hopelessly continuing to derail his cool sheath thread... but while we are on the subject... a small hint I learned in my college bartending days about margaritas is to add about an ounce or so of Orange Juice. It goes a long way to killing the cheap tequilla bite. Gran Marnier has the same effect if you wanna go top $helf.

OK... back to the original thread... I am curious how the edge on that Fiddleback holds up. Give it a work-out and let us know.
