The first balisong I've made that works! Advice/criticism please!

Hello all! I finished my first workingbslisong not long ago, and in looking for advice/criticism. So far all I have is a bench grinder and an electric sander, a drill press and files. I'm doing this just for fun. I enjoy making things and its cheaper than buying one. I'm using aluminum for the handles and a mystery high carbon steel for the blade (I'm not going to be cutting with this). I'm using slightly oversized phosphor bronze washers and hardware store hardware. This is mostly just a proof of concept, and for me to learn to flip on, despite the light handles. Next time as like to add a clip/ latch. And advice on materials/how to be more consistent in grinding and shaping, and really anything that could help is appreciated.
